Purchasing

I lived without many kitchen essentials for three weeks. Tonight I spent $24 at the dollar store for my house. Here is what I purchased:

3 sets of dish cloths
2 oven mitts
seasoning salt
“food”
lemon pepper
garlic salt
comet
body wash
wipes (cleaning)
squeegee
toilet brush
melamine tools
kitchen
floor brush
can opener
nerds
wonka sour nerds
magnetic clips
measuring cup
2 greeting cards

My kitchen is a bit more taken care of now, and the toilet is clean. Thank goodness!

The rest of my shopping list looks like this:
paper towels
TP
bread
lunch meat
cheese
beer
tomatoes
cucumbers
pita bread
face wash/cloths
contacts
snack food
trash can (kitchen & bedroom)
bath mat
corkscrew
baking dishes
phone
wireless router
wine glasses
mailing envelopes

  1. OK, I didn’t count it all up, but if you spent $24 at a dollar store, you should have something like 24 items. Seems like you got more. Such a deal!

  2. MAD - yeah, it says that I got 25 things. That’s pretty cool for me. The cards were each only $0.50 though - and they’re NICE cards … don’t totally dollar-store-looking!

  6. I don’t think I’d want dollar store wine, Marlee! lol Hurray for the Dollar Tree. Glad you got to get stocked up.
